Voter Registration
- May 20, 2025 is the LAST DAY to register to vote in our 2025 town election
- Based on the town website, you need to register with the State of Maryland as a Maryland resident in order to vote in our Town Elections. I know that there are many people that believe that this is not consistent with our Town Charter and that it disenfranchises some voters. However, the town website’s link saying “to register to vote please click here” goes to the State of Maryland State Board of Elections website.
- You can check your voter registration by visiting the Maryland State Board of Elections Voter Lookup page
- If you have any questions about the voter registration process, please contact the Town Office on 410-226-5122
Absentee Ballots
- June 10, 2025 is the last day to request an Absentee Ballot
- The application for an Absentee Ballot can be found on the town website.
- May 21, 2025 (the day after voting registration closes) is the first day that Absentee Ballots will be ready for pick up at Town Hall or to be mailed to residents approved for Absentee voting
- Absentee Ballots can be returned either via US Postal Service, or by placing them in the Absentee Ballot drop box in the atrium/vestibule of our Community Services Building, where the Town Office is located (101 Market Street, Oxford, MD)
- June 17, 2025 (election day) is the deadline for Absentee Ballots to be received by the Board of Election Supervisors
- If you have any questions about Absentee Ballots, please contact the Town Office on 410-226-5122

- In-person voting will be June 17, 2025 from 8 AM – 8 PM at the Oxford Community Services Building at 101 Market Street, Oxford, MD
Voting is one of the highest privileges of citizenship. I encourage every eligible person in our town to participate in this election and have your voice heard.
